When you are pulling off this move a big thing is selling it. If you don't sell it, the defender wont be fooled. You really need to make it seem like you are going that way.

Basically this is a ground ball trick.
1.You have to apply two touches with your stronger foot.
2.Drag the ball with the inside of your foot, behind your balancing foot.
3.In the process, while the ball is still rolling that side, push the ball again forwards after the ball rolls across behind your balancing foot, from the ouside of your foot.
In english, if the ball is on your right foot, drag from behind the other foot from the inside foot and then pull the ball left, behind your left leg and then with the outside foot, pull the ball front, to exit right.
GOt it?
Got skills bro.

once at the opponent stop ball then take the other foot and roll AROUND the player. This should be done quickly or else you will lose the ball. Stay focused and don't panic

Pro level Soccer Moves:
Question:
How do you do a Rabona when I do it, it only goes up about 10 inches can you please teach me.
Answer:
Hello Hayyam, the Rabona can be a difficult move to pull off. To be honest I would not reccommend you doing this in a game as there are other more effective ways of serving a ball.
But if you do want to learn the move here are some tips to think about when tryint to execute it.
1) Make sure you are doing it all in one motion, don't plant your foot then have the other one swing around, do it all in one clean motion.
2) Have your back leg (the leg hitting the ball) follow through with the shot, not just stop once you make contact with the ball.
3) If you aren't already try doing it with your dominant foot as the plant foot and your non dominant as the striking foot.
4) Don't have your plant foot too close or too far from the ball, about a yard or so will do.
5) Do it from a stationary position before you try doing it on the run
Another great way to see it in action is having a look at the explination and video of the Rabona on my Soccer Moves Page
If you are serious about increasing every part of your game then your fitness also must be at a high level. This 6 Week PRO Fitness Training Program is a must for every aspiring pro.
The Rabona much like most soccer moves takes several repitions to complete and once you do get it you'll wonder why you had struggled in the past.
